Glen Onoko Falls

If I had to rate the attractions of Lehigh Gorge State Park, the first place would go to the waterfalls on a mountain stream named Glen Onoko Run. The trail to the falls starts from the Lehigh River, which flows into a stream, climbs a mountain, and passes through magnificently beautiful rhododendron forest.

Kaaterskill Falls

One of the most beautiful waterfalls that I happened to see is in the Catskill Mountains in Upstate New York called the Kaaterskill Falls. The double cascading waterfall has a total height of 260 feet (79 meters).  The height of the drop on the upper stage is 180 feet (55 meters).

Stony Brook State Park


Stony Brook State Park is located in the north eastern United States, in the Finger Lakes area. It has the characteristic landscape of this region but at the same time it is unique and beautiful.

Buttermilk Falls State Park


Buttermilk Falls State Park is located near the North American city of Ithaca in upstate New York. The main attraction of this park is not difficult to guess, there is a waterfall named Butermilk. Th park is small - it has a  pedestrian trail less than a mile long. The main waterfall is located right at the entrance to the park.

North-South Lake Campground

One of the most beautiful places in the world is hidden under the modest title North-South Lake Campground in the Castilian mountains in New York State.

Hickory Run State Park



Hickory Run State Park is located in the Pocono Mountains in the state of Pennsylvania. Attractions of this park include: Boulder Field Natural Area, Hawk Falls, and Mud Swamp.

Niagara Falls



Niagara Falls -  is a common name for three waterfalls on the Niagara River which separate New York State from the Canadian province of Ontario. This is a photo from the Canadian side. Across the river is the U.S.

Watkins Glen State Park


A Natural Wonder, Watkins Glen State Park, is located near the town Watkins Glen in the state of  New York. The town itself is located near Seneca Lake, which in turn is part of a group of lakes named the Finger Lakes.

Seven Tubs Nature Area


Seven Tubs Natural Area - small in size, but an amazingly beautiful work of nature. Although sources on the Internet, including Wikipedia, indicate glacial origin of Seven Tubs, visiting here gives no doubt that this is not the case. But what made ​​the creek in this area will certainly be attributed to the wonder of nature.

Ricketts Glen State Park


Ricketts Glen State Park  is a unique place on Earth where a small area contains ​​21 waterfalls, each of which could be a separate attraction.
